We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Security Compliance Manager to join our team at the Civil Aviation Authority. As a key member of our Regulatory Assurance Program, you will be responsible for leading a team of auditors in assessing and verifying compliance with aviation security regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in partner management, with a proven track record of forming strong relationships internally and externally. You will be meticulous in your attention to detail, able to analyze complex data sets quickly and accurately to identify trends and anomalies.

We offer a competitive salary of £52,500 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible working patterns and hybrid working arrangements.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess knowledge and understanding of threat and risk management, incident response, and the implementation of management systems. Experience working in a regulatory and/or compliance-based environment is essential.

About the Role

  • To lead and coordinate a targeted program of compliance monitoring activities and engagement ensuring resource is scheduled proportionately and efficiently.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a remote working team of auditors to ensure objectives are communicated, understood, and delivered in line with the Business Plan.
  • Quality assure and analyse compliance monitoring findings for lead sector in order to ensure consistency of auditor inputs, measure workforce productivity, and understand entity and sector performance trends.
  • Regularly generate and review reports from the Compliance Management systems for internal and external stakeholders. Analyse Compliance data to identify trends and levels within remit.
