Job Summary:
Burman Recruitment is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a major digital transformation project aimed at enhancing student digital services. This is a 3-year project that requires a skilled and experienced professional to oversee its planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent leadership and team management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

About the Project:
The project aims to improve the digital experience for students through the implementation of new digital solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to develop and deliver these solutions. This will involve coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, and applying Prince2 or equivalent project management methodologies to ensure quality standards and governance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Student Digital Services Enhancement project.
  • Coordinate resources and manage stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Apply Prince2 or equivalent project management methodologies.
  • Facilitate change management processes.

What We Offer:
The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work and on-site presence as required.

Requirements:
  • Prince2 Practitioner certification or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT or digital service improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of student-facing digital services and their impact on student experience.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in managing long-term projects with clear milestones and deliverables.
