Legionella Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to produce Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8, HSG 274, HTM:04 01, Water Regulations, and BS 8580.
  • Create detailed end reports detailing recommendations for remedial action, site-specific control schemes, management plans, and schematic drawings.
  • Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients.
  • Be prepared to assist with water hygiene-related tasks such as monitoring and maintenance.
  • Carry out inspections using electronic devices or relevant paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate previous 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Hold City & Guilds or similar third-party accredited Legionella control training.
  • Demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity, adhering to strict quality control systems and operational procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic IT applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance material.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License.
