Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of young people and deliver positive outcomes for all our service users
  • Support young people to reach independence, keep safe, and maintain their tenancies
  • Work proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
  • Conduct regular key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
  • Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers
  • Provide support with daily living activities, including practical assistance where skills are not yet developed
  • Develop links with local statutory and voluntary organisations to provide a range of engagement opportunities for customers
  • Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
  • Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively
About You

We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind and a naturally well-organised approach. You should be able to cope positively with challenging and diverse behaviours and be passionate about improving outcomes for young people from a range of backgrounds.

You will be confident to assess and manage risks associated with our customers, with an attitude of positive risk taking. You should be highly competent in advocating for young people, working with other professionals to get the best outcomes.

You will be highly organised and able to meet deadlines and targets on written work and practical tasks. You should be committed to working in a person-centred way with complex young people, using creative strategies to achieve results.

You will be adept in providing support with daily living activities such as budgeting, cooking, or attending appointments in the community. You should be highly flexible with a 'can do' attitude and committed to supporting young people to maintain a healthy living environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career development and progression. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with access to training and development opportunities to help you grow and succeed in your career.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk, and expects all employees, workers and volunteers to share this commitment. If your application for this role is unsuccessful, but we feel that you would be suitable for another role, we may contact you to discuss alternative opportunities.
