About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Look Ahead Care Support and Housing. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their assessed needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to customers to promote social inclusion and independent living.
- Work with customers to set personalised goals and develop Support Plans.
- Conduct regular key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals.
- Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers.
- Provide support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living.
Requirements:
- Typical Support Worker Qualifications are NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with little or some previous relevant sector work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Good Record Keeping.
- Strong relationship skills.
