Elective Access Clerk Band 3 Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Elective Access Clerk at Saxon Suite, Lincoln County Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality, efficient, and effective service to patients and staff, with day-to-day contact with staff at all levels and regular patient contact over the telephone and face-to-face.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor patient target lists (PTLs) and advise the wider team on capacity and demand issues.
- Ensure patient pathways are updated and patient admissions and discharges recorded.
- Deal with patient queries on a daily basis.

Person Specification- GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
- Clerical experience, with a proven track record of working with the public in a customer care position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
