Elective Access Clerk Band 3 Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Elective Access Clerk in the Saxon Suite at Lincoln County Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full, accurate, efficient, and effective service to the Saxon Suite, with day-to-day contact with staff at all levels and regular patient contact over the telephone and face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patient target lists (PTLs) and advise the wider team on capacity and demand issues.
- Ensure patient pathways are updated and patient admissions and discharges are recorded.
- Deal with patient queries on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English (Grade C or above), or NVQ2 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Clerical experience, including working with the public in a customer care position.
- Data entry/keyboard skills, ability to prioritise workloads, and good oral and written communication skills.
