About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Elective Access Clerk Band 3. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing a high-quality service to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Saxon Suite team, ensuring efficient and effective patient pathways.
  • Monitor patient target lists and advise the wider team on capacity and demand issues.
  • Ensure patient admissions and discharges are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Deal with patient queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with staff at all levels to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
  • Clerical experience, with a focus on customer care and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Understanding of NHS targets, Outpatient, Inpatient, and Choice & Access functions.
  • Confidentiality and medical terminology knowledge.
