Elective Access Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Elective Access Clerk in the Saxon Suite at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full, accurate, efficient, and effective service to the Saxon Suite, with day-to-day contact with staff at all levels and regular patient contact over the telephone and face-to-face.
- Monitor patient target lists (PTLs) and advise the wider team on capacity and demand issues, ensuring patient pathways are updated and patient admissions and discharges recorded.
- Deal with patient queries on a daily basis, providing excellent customer care and support.
- GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
- Clerical experience, with a proven track record of working with the public in a customer care position.
- Excellent data entry/keyboard skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and apply NHS targets, Outpatient, Inpatient, and Choice & Access functions.
- Understanding of confidentiality and medical terminology.
