We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Elective Access Clerk in the Saxon Suite. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dedicated treatment unit based within a clinical area on Dixon Ward at Lincoln County Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full, accurate, efficient, and effective service to the Saxon Suite with day-to-day contact with staff at all levels.
- Monitor patient target lists (PTLs) and advise the wider team on capacity and demand issues.
- Ensure patient pathways are updated and patient admissions and discharges recorded.
- Deal with patient queries on a daily basis.
- GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.
- Clerical experience, including working with the public in a customer care position.
- Data entry/keyboard skills, ability to prioritize workloads, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of NHS targets, Outpatient, Inpatient, and Choice & Access functions, as well as confidentiality and medical terminology.
