We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join our rapidly expanding team at LMP Group. As a Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education provision for autistic children and young people, aged 4 to 19 years.
Key Responsibilities- Provide classroom support to children, supporting all elements of learning, emotional wellbeing, communication, behavior, and personal care.
- Work alongside the Teacher, Lead Assistant, and other Classroom Assistants as a member of the class team to deliver an appropriate curriculum within a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
- Support the development of individualized learning plans and implement strategies to meet the needs of students with complex social communication needs.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver engaging lessons, activities, and outings to extend learning beyond the classroom.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the children and young people at LMP Group in all learning activities.
- Hardworking, resilient individuals who can be flexible and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Good team players who can work collaboratively with the class team and respect the needs of others.
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- A good level of English and Maths is required.
