Job Description

Freemantles School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing education provision for autistic children and young people or children with complex social communication needs aged 4 to 19 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Teacher, Lead Assistant, and other Classroom Assistants to deliver an appropriate curriculum within a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
  • Provide classroom support to children, supporting all elements of learning, emotional wellbeing, communication, behavior, and personal care.

Requirements
  • Flexible and able to learn quickly.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Any GCSE level qualifications or other relevant qualifications/training.
  • Experience working in a school or with people with Autism.
Training and Qualification

The successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship standard qualification.

Potential full-time employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
