Childcare Assistant Apprenticeship – Level 2 – Maybury Montessori
The Aspire Training Team is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Maybury Montessori as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice.
Maybury Montessori is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children from 6 months to 4 years. Our dedicated team is passionate about giving each child confidence and a love of learning.
Our Montessori setting is a world where children can explore and be themselves. We follow the three principles of our caring code:

These principles lead to positive qualities such as compassion, respect for others, patience, and a love of looking outwards into the world.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, sharing information about children's development and well-being.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.
- Support children's personal care needs.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming setting.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Follow the Montessori ethos.
Requirements:
- You must be able to obtain a clear DBS.
- Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
Working Hours:
- This position requires working 40 hours per week, with shifts between the setting's opening hours of 08.00am and 18.00pm.
