Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team as a Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals and providing high-quality care to children and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatrics, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Paediatric Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to children and their families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual clients' needs.
  • Managing medication delivery and overseeing nursing interventions.
  • Building relationships with clients and their families to ensure effective communication and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) qualification and a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK.
  • An active NMC PIN and a supportive management style that brings out the best in others.
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of healthcare assistants.
