Job Description

As a leading global contract research organization (CRO), Fortrea provides pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device customers with a wide range of clinical development, patient access, and technology solutions across more than 20 therapeutic areas.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager - Therapeutic Areas and Solutions, a remote-based role in the UK. This individual will develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies that drive engagement and differentiation for various therapeutic areas, such as oncology, cardiovascular, and others, as well as drug development solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage marketing strategies, go-to-market plans, and tactical budgets for assigned therapeutic areas aligned with Marketing objectives and priorities.
  • Launch and manage highly targeted marketing campaigns that drive engagement with and preference for Fortrea and focus on sales enablement and lead generation.
  • Partner with campaign marketing SMEs (medical and operational) and marketing centers of excellence to develop compelling messaging and provide guidance on go-to-market strategies and tactics (webinars, conferences, white papers, media, etc.) to drive client interest and differentiate Fortrea solutions.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and operational teams to generate customer-facing materials.
  • Working with SMEs and commercial stakeholders, develop a priority list of relevant trade shows and other events, then work collaboratively in planning and executing them to drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Measure impact of marketing initiatives via metrics and dashboards reporting. Make recommendations on improvements and best practices for future programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and formal academic qualification such as a master's degree or PhD in a relevant field. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Extensive experience with marketing program strategy planning, development, and implementation in the health and life sciences industry.
  • Experience in omnichannel strategies, including digital, social, print, email, webinar, and face-to-face events.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with senior management.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to influence others outside of marketing.
  • Excellent written, project management, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multitask, and prioritize.
  • Must be a self-motivator, willing to influence events and people to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and problem-solve; positive attitude and sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 15%.
