Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized housing plans to help applicants maintain their existing homes or find alternative accommodation options.
  • Conduct thorough enquiries to establish the housing duties owed to customers, including negotiating with landlords and identifying support needs.
  • Work collaboratively with applicants, landlords, and other stakeholders to find practical solutions to homelessness.
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize office systems to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with vulnerable clients in a customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a pressurized environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of Housing Act, Homelessness legislation, and landlord and tenant law.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of service users.
