About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy and Influencing Officer to join our team at Breast Cancer Now. As a key member of our policy, evidence and influencing team, you will play a critical role in achieving change for people with breast cancer in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise of breast cancer services and care in London, informing our national policy positioning and plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing change in London and beyond.
  • Work closely with the policy, evidence and influencing team to develop and implement effective policy and influencing strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of our regional policy and influencing function, ensuring a coordinated approach to achieving our goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK to lead projects and work towards shared objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a relevant stakeholder, strategic, influencing or policy role.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build strong external relationships and influence change within the NHS.
  • Ability to work well independently, managing a varied workload and leading projects.
  • Capability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment, with a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
