About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy and Influencing Officer to join our team at Breast Cancer Now. As a key member of our policy, evidence and influencing team, you will play a critical role in achieving change for people with breast cancer in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise of breast cancer services and care in London, informing our national policy positioning and plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing change in London and across the UK.
  • Work closely with the policy, evidence and influencing team to develop and implement effective policy and influencing strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of our stakeholder engagement and influencing plans, ensuring that our voice is heard at a local and national level.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK to lead projects and work on initiatives that drive change for people with breast cancer.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a relevant stakeholder, strategic, influencing or policy role, with a good understanding of the current health landscape in London or across England.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build strong external relationships and influence change within the NHS at a local or national level.
  • Ability to work well independently, managing a varied workload and leading projects with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with teams across the UK, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving outcomes.
