About the Role

The Aurora Academy Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Central HR team, you will provide HR support services to our schools, delivering expert advice and guidance on all aspects of HR management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support to School Leadership Teams, enabling them to deliver a well-run school that focuses on improving educational attainment for pupils.
  • Support the Central HR team in developing professional practice and adding value to the Trust.
  • Deliver HR support services to schools, including attendance management, capability, grievances, investigations, and disciplinaries.
  • Work closely with schools to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to schools on HR-related matters, including employment law and best practice.

Requirements

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development in HR.
  • A background of providing HR support in a schools/education environment.
  • Experience of using HR and payroll systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to work in an organized and methodical manner, while remaining calm and patient under pressure.
  • An ability to demonstrate knowledge of HR legislation.
