About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our People Performance team as a Business Development Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our people plans and partnering with Retail teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive business outcomes
  • Holding regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people plans and provide guidance on talent development
  • Working closely with other teams within the People function to ensure seamless execution of people plans
  • Completing talent reviews with stakeholders and providing recommendations for career development
  • Succeeding in succession planning for key roles and identifying future leaders
  • Supporting the upskilling of managers through training and development programs
  • Maintaining a focus on colleague engagement and well-being
  • Supporting new store openings and closure processes to ensure a smooth transition
  • Managing employee relations cases in a fair and consistent manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases
  • Experience of working within a highly customer-centric or retail environment
  • Ability to work with data to inform decision-making
  • Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Ability to collaborate, persuade, and influence others
  • Assertiveness, resilience, and tenacity in a fast-paced environment
