Commercial Business Development Lead

Ambition is supporting a well-established Law Firm with their recruitment for an experienced Commercial Business Partner to join their Bristol office. This new role presents the opportunity to influence the growing commercial business partnering function and drive profitability and pricing strategies.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Develop strong relationships with partners to deliver commercial benefits.
- Enhance financial literacy of fee earners, ensuring they are equipped to make informed decisions.
- Drive performance against budget and improvement plans, identifying areas for optimization.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Finance Operations:
- Create monthly performance analysis for board reporting, providing actionable insights.
- Improve standardized analysis and reduce ad-hoc requirements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a strong understanding of financial principles.
- Proven experience in FP&A or business partnering roles, with a track record of delivering results.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish strong partnerships with senior stakeholders.
- High proficiency in financial modeling, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Cross-functional project experience, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Power Apps, with the ability to leverage technology to drive business outcomes.
