Job Profile

We are seeking an exceptional Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Medway Council. In this role, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide support, guidance, and advocacy.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex family situations, providing high-quality social work services, and ensuring that all parties involved receive a service that reflects the council's commitment to achieving positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Family Support: Provide emotional support, guidance, and advocacy to children, young people, and their families, helping them navigate complex situations.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organisations, to develop and implement effective support plans.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A degree in Social Work or a related field, plus significant experience working with vulnerable populations.
Benefits:
  • Negotiable Salary Range: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
