Senior Agile Test Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agile Test Analyst to join our team at Barratt Developments PLC. As a key member of our IT Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for defining and executing testing activities for software solutions, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software solutions meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing activities.
- Design and execute test scripts, including system testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting continuous improvement and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain testing status reports, activity schedules, and visual progress charts.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in testing complex commercial environments, with relevant external qualifications (BCS, ISTQB, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of testing mainstream development solutions, operating systems, relational databases, and APIs.
- Experience working with task and defect tracking tools, such as JIRA or Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrable understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
