We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Nurse to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a Clinical Trials Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical trials within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, educate, and monitor trial patients, ensuring accurate data collection and management.
- Contribute to the assessment and management of care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials.
- Liaise with supporting departments, Principal Investigators, research sponsors, and research colleagues to coordinate clinical trial visits.
- Ensure adherence to research regulatory standards and governance frameworks.
- Work closely with an experienced team of research nurses, research managers, and trial administrators to deliver trials safely and efficiently.
- Registered Nurse with experience in clinical research or a related field.
- Specialist knowledge of research, or equivalent demonstrable knowledge in a disease area.
- Ability to make independent decisions and advise others on appropriate action.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional shift work and on-call duties.
