Job Title: Clinical Research Associate - Research Nurse

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Nurse to join our team at the Clinical Research Facility within the University Hospital of Wales. As a Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality health and social care studies.

Main Responsibilities:

* Contribute to the assessment and management of care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials
* Recruit, educate, and monitor trial patients, and collect and document accurate data
* Liaise with supporting departments, Principal Investigators, research sponsors, and research colleagues to coordinate clinical trial visits according to protocols
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients/research participants taking part in research studies

Requirements:

* Specialist knowledge of research or equivalent demonstrable knowledge in a disease area
* Knowledge of clinical or research terminology
* Ability to work hours flexibly, including occasional shift work
* Ability to contribute to an on-call rota
