About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Nurse to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality health and social care studies, working closely with our research delivery team to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the assessment and management of care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials.
  • Recruit, educate, and monitor trial patients, collecting and documenting accurate data.
  • Liaise with supporting departments, Principal Investigators, research sponsors, and research colleagues to coordinate clinical trial visits according to protocols.
  • Adhere to research regulatory standards and governance frameworks.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with either research experience and/or extensive clinical experience.
  • Specialist knowledge of research or equivalent demonstrable knowledge in a disease area.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and advise others on appropriate action.
