We are seeking a skilled Community Children's Nurse to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and families in a community setting.
Main Responsibilities
The Community Children's Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing health assessments and interventions to children and families in a community setting
- Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of children and families
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Providing education and support to families on health and wellbeing
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy
- Completion of a competency-based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational level 3
- Ability to adapt and learn in a healthcare environment
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience of working within a care environment or NHS, experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and experience of working with the public would be advantageous.
