About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Radiology team at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, CT, and MRI scans. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, including preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Support administrative staff with tasks such as data entry, filing, and communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiology procedures and protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology or a related field.
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
