Job Title: Production Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to join our team at Jarvis Johnson in Lancashire.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing food production, preferably in chilled or frozen environments. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of factory operations, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards.

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring productivity and efficiency
  • Implement and monitor food safety protocols in accordance with HACCP guidelines
  • Manage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Plan, organize, and measure labor and material requirements
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards within the factory

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing food production, preferably in chilled or frozen environments
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
  • Proficiency in HACCP and BRC principles
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and their implementation
  • A solid understanding of retailer expectations and how to meet them
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and solution-driven
