Financial Administrator

Job Overview:
VANRATH is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our client's team in Ballymena. As a key member of the administrative staff, you will be responsible for managing and reconciling company bank accounts and credit cards.
About the Role:
- Assist with maintaining a database to coordinate projects, associated expenses, and allocated resources.
- Reconcile receipts for travel and subsistence, ensuring they are allocated to the correct project.
- Efficiently manage the sales ledger, issue invoices, checking them against offers, and follow up on payment as required.
- Manage travel bookings for all employees, including flights, ferries, and hotels across all projects, ensuring expenses are allocated to the correct project.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish as required, managing receipts in relation to VAT claims.
- Provide administrative support to the Director, including organizing meetings and carrying out word processing duties.
- Day-to-day management of the office, including the procurement of goods and equipment, and maintenance of an effective filing system.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience within a similar role.
- Bookkeeping experience, including management of purchase/sales ledger.
- Excellent IT skills with at least 1 year's office-based experience of using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
