Children's Residential Senior Support Worker

About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker at Break Charity, you will be working closely with young people living in our children's home, providing hands-on support and guidance to help them overcome their past traumas and build trust with adults.
You will be a positive role model, supporting the young people to develop their own identity and encouraging new experiences. You will work as part of a tight-knit team of colleagues to build relationships and trust with the young people, and you will be a key part of our therapeutic services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a good team player, able to support those around you and have the emotional intelligence and resilience to manage challenging situations. You will also need to be able to line manage support workers and direct the staff and resources when on shift.

Requirements:
- Good team player with emotional intelligence and resilience

- Manual driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (fully funded by Break Charity)
