About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to join our team. As a Senior Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children in our residential care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care professionals in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child
  • Collaborate with the therapeutic team to provide trauma-informed care and support
  • Provide supervision and guidance to care staff to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Work in partnership with young people, their families, and other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for each child

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a relevant qualification (minimum - childcare related Diploma at Level 3)
  • 2 years' experience working in a position relevant to the residential care of children in the last 5 years
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in supervision and management of others in a care role
  • Experience of inter-agency work
  • Able to work toward targets, and set goals for others
  • Evidence of continued professional development
