Special Education Needs Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Tempest Resourcing Limited. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe and complex medical needs.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students, working closely with teachers, therapists, and medical professionals to create tailored support plans.
- Assist students with severe and complex medical needs, administering medication and following care plans under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to ensure students' physical, emotional, and medical needs are met throughout the school day.
- Support students in classroom activities, promoting accessibility and inclusion in lessons.
Requirements:
- A minimum of £25,000 salary per annum, commensurate with experience.
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A willingness to undertake further training, including medical care and moving and handling.
- Essential: An updated child & adult enhanced DBS.
