Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and passionate Receptionist to join our team at Malmaison. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with room maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed guest expectations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
