International Defence Training (IDT) is a dynamic team at the Ministry of Defence, facilitating training agreements with Foreign Military and UK Defence Contractors.

We offer an exciting opportunity for a Business Financial Analyst to join our IDT team in RAF AIR Command. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for inputting all offered IDT business into the financial forecast in accordance with local procedures, ensuring accuracy and reflecting the true status of the training booking.

The ideal candidate will have some awareness of civil service HR and wider finance activities, as well as strong IT skills including Office 365, Excel spreadsheets, and Web Iris. You will liaise with IDT Desk Officers to obtain payment plans and carry out additional entries to the financial Forecasts when required.

This role involves billing tasks for all IDT (RAF) Business, raising debtor Invoices and credits via Web Iris, and updating the Forecast, Invoice Log. You will also support IDT3A with Civil Service business compliance and engage with end users and team members to provide analysis from information presented.

We are offering a competitive salary range of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including learning and development opportunities, flexible working options, and a culture encouraging inclusion and diversity.

This is a permanent position, subject to a six-month probation period for new starters. Please note that expenses incurred for travel to interviews will not be reimbursed.
