Job Description

Role: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Woolwich, South East London.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a KS1 setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualised support
  • Assist with planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or 1:1 degree from a reputable university
  • Experience working with students with SEN/SEMH/SEND
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, reliable, and flexible
