About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Major Projects Nuclear department at Kier Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing resources, ensuring safe and timely project delivery, and promoting integrated working with other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead a significant section of the project, ensuring accurate recording of labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources.
  • Performance and Health & Safety: Support the implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures in accordance with Kier Group standards, reporting and auditing using the client's Insight system.
  • Team Development: Promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.
  • Cost Management: Take full ownership and accountability for cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness and using site-based systems such as CEMAR.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant degree-level qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Communication and Project Management Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, including leading and managing technical teams.
  • Client Interface: Ability to take the lead with client interfaces.
  • Project Requirements: Ability to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and programme.
