About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at JAM Recruitment. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and management of sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning, execution, and control of site works
  • Develop and implement site management processes, ensuring compliance with management systems and best practices
  • Directly manage or participate in specific projects, site activities, and bids, including site work delivery planning, HSE/CDM advisory, and site team management
  • Develop, lead, and oversee site teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards
  • Lead by example in promoting a strong QHSE culture and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
  • Manage site activities and subcontractors, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
