About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Major Projects Nuclear department at Kier Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, leading a team of professionals and overseeing the delivery of a major construction project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead a significant section of the project, ensuring all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
  • Performance and Health & Safety: Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance and Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier Group standards. Reporting and auditing using the clients Insight system.
  • Team Development: Promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.
  • Cost Management: Take full ownership and accountability for cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness and using site-based systems such as CEMAR.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience.
  • Communication and Project Management Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, including leading and managing technical teams.
  • Client Interface: Able to take the lead with client interfaces.
  • Project Requirements: Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and programme.
