Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Foreman to join our team at Kier Group. As a Section Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on site, including supervising site operatives, allocating duties, and ensuring that tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Health and Safety: You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, including conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and daily task briefings.
- Co-ordination: You will work closely with line managers to co-ordinate work methods, ensure that tasks are carried out within budget and schedule, and advise on any issues that may impact the contract programme.
- Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate records of site activities and provide regular updates to line managers.
Requirements:
- Experience: You will have previous experience as a foreman or similar role, with a strong understanding of construction drawings and RC works.
- Knowledge: You will have knowledge of health and safety procedures, including inductions, toolbox talks, and daily task briefings.
- Skills: You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
