About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our pump sales efforts across Scotland and England. This challenging role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and expand our market share.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, building relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities. Your expertise in pump sales, combined with your ability to lead and motivate a team, will be crucial in achieving our sales targets.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can think strategically, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively at all levels. If you have a proven track record in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving business growth, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets
  • BUILD strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • IDENTIFY new business opportunities and negotiate contracts
  • LEAD and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their targets
  • MONITOR and analyze sales performance data to inform decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the pumps or related industries
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Valid driving license
