We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic tutor to join our team as an Academic Academy Tutor. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to their academic success.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lesson plans and activities
- Working with students in a home setting to provide tailored support and guidance
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE)
- Subject Specialism or extensive tuition experience supporting with English, Maths and/or Science
- Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of working with children/young people with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH)
- Experience, Knowledge and Understanding of working with disengaged young people or looked after children
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to acquire one
This position involves working as a self-employed contractor, with flexible hours and the opportunity to choose your own work schedule. Your hourly rate will be £26.62, providing a competitive income for your services.
