Residential Childcare Specialist

As a Residential Childcare Specialist, you will work in a dynamic and supportive team to provide high-quality care and education to children and young people with complex needs. Our school is committed to delivering exceptional care and education services to meet the unique needs of each child.
About UsWe are an independent specialist residential care and education organisation providing care and education to children and young people aged 11-19 years who have severe and profound learning disabilities and complex care needs. Our ethos is to provide warm, safe, and nurturing environments where children and young people can thrive and reach their full potential.
We offer a competitive salary of £46 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working patterns, meals provided on day shifts, private healthcare insurance scheme, and time and a half for weekend and bank holiday overtime. You will also receive a fully paid one-week induction prior to working with children and young people and 24 hours' access to employee counselling support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional support to children and young people with complex needs, promoting their choice, independence, dignity, and privacy.
- Maintain a stable and happy environment, prioritising the health, safety, and welfare of our children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with senior staff to develop and implement individual care plans and positive behaviour support plans.
- Participate in extensive training to enhance your skills and knowledge in childcare and education.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting a sense of community and belonging among colleagues.

- Loyalty bonus (£500.00 annual salary length of service award upon completion of each 5 years).
- Fully paid day off on staff birthday (subject to satisfactory attendance in the preceding 12 months).
- Professional health services for injuries sustained at work (subject to satisfying criteria as set out in the staff absence policy).
