Pension Governance Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Pension Governance Manager to join our Flutter team. This role will play a critical part in supporting and driving our pension provision and governance.

About the Role:

This is a newly created position that offers the opportunity to shape and implement our pension governance strategy. You will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:
  1. Pension Governance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive pension governance strategy that aligns with our evolving goals.
  2. Compliance and Risk: Ensure compliance with local governance structures and relevant taxation approaches, leading on future auto-enrolment introductions.
  3. Regulatory Oversight: Monitor and provide oversight of ongoing or future legislative/regulatory changes, highlighting areas of focus.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Be the point of contact for risk & legal changes to Flutter impacting pensions, partnering with internal teams and external suppliers.
  5. Pension Supplier Performance: Oversee supplier performance, reviewing regularly and updating stakeholders.
  6. Process Improvements: Work closely with the Flutter Benefits team to identify process improvements and participate in the annual renewal project team.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable expertise in defined contribution pensions across the UK, Ireland, and internationally.
  • Pension technical expertise/experience (a professional pension qualification from the PMI would be preferable).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
