Job Title: School Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Administrator to join our team at a fantastic Special Needs primary school in West Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the school office team and will work closely with the Senior Administrator and School Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to queries
  • Inputting pupil attendance data using SIMS
  • Greeting and signing in visitors
  • Liaising with parents and other stakeholders
  • Performing other clerical duties as required
Requirements:
  • Experience with using school data input software such as SIMS
  • An education background and previous experience working within a school setting is highly desirable
  • Previous experience working in a school office environment is an advantage, but not essential
  • A positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
  • Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
