Supporting a Special Needs Primary School in West Cumbria

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic Special Needs primary school in West Cumbria to recruit a School Administrator for a temporary role. The position is to cover for long term sickness of a permanent member of staff, and the role will likely be required until at least December 2024.

About the Role

The school, based in the Whitehaven area, has a supportive and friendly office team, and they take great pride in their friendly and dynamic office team who are committed to creating a positive and welcoming environment for all visitors.

The senior leadership team are looking to recruit someone who has an education background, and has worked in a school setting previously. In this role, you shall be supporting and reporting into the Senior Administrator and the School Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering the telephone and responding to queries
  • Inputting pupil attendance using SIMS
  • Greeting and signing in visitors
  • Liaising with parents and other stakeholders
  • Other clerical responsibilities as required

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic office team, and to contribute to the success of a special needs primary school in West Cumbria.
