School Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient School Administrator to join our team at a fantastic Special Needs primary school in West Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the school office team and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities:- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Inputting pupil attendance data using SIMS
- Greeting and signing in visitors
- Liaising with parents and other stakeholders
- Performing other clerical duties as required
- Experience with using school data input software such as SIMS
- An education background and previous experience working within a school setting
- Previous experience working in a school office environment is desirable but not essential
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
This is a temporary role to cover long-term sickness, and the successful candidate will be required to work until at least December 2024. If you are a highly organized and efficient individual with a passion for education, we would love to hear from you.
