We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Supportive Learning Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a Supportive Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with their learning and development, improving their communication and social skills.
- Work collaboratively with qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide a comprehensive support system for pupils.
- Gain experience in a school setting with specialist SEMH and ARP classrooms.
- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with ASC, autism, anxiety, and ADHD.
- Obtained a First-Class Psychology Degree or a degree from a Top 20 University.
- Previous experience and a passion for working with children.
- Aims to become an Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience.
We offer a competitive salary of £20,000-£25,000 per year pro rata to term time only. This is an excellent opportunity for a Supportive Learning Assistant looking for a rewarding role after university, gaining experience working in a school setting, which would be ideal for an aspiring Clinical or Educational Psychologist.
