Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals as a Behavioural Support Assistant. You will be working in a small SEMH School in Hackney, providing support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour, providing individualised support to students, and contributing to the development of behaviour management strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students and colleagues alike. Strong behaviour management skills are essential, and previous experience working with challenging behaviours is highly desirable. As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will also be required to maintain accurate records of student progress, adapt plans as needed, and collaborate with teaching staff to deliver lesson content.
