About the Role
The Inclusive Learning Environment Coordinator will work closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure that students receive the necessary support to succeed in their academic pursuits. Key responsibilities include providing one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting teachers in planning and implementing tailored learning activities, and fostering a supportive and respectful learning environment. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, as well as flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in developing their skills and knowledge, adapting to their individual needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting student engagement and well-being.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting. A strong ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents is essential, as is flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing circumstances. Fluency in Welsh and proficiency in English are also required. The estimated salary for this position is £24,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
